Friday we got hit with snow in Auburn. Thursday night work got cancelled because of the anticipated snow. I thought this was so funny that they cancelled before the snow even started, but that's ok, because I didn't have to work! Anyways, I got up at 7 in the morning and there was no snow! But about 8:30 it started spitting snow and then gradually got harder. We did end up getting about 2 to 3 inches, but really work and school should not have been cancelled. The roads were clear the entire day, but I understand that in Auburn, people are just not used to snow. It really was very pretty. Friday night Matt and I went to the Sweetheart Dinner at church. I was afraid that a lot of people wouldn't show up for it because of the snow, but we had a very good turn out. It was our first time to go to it, and I was very impressed. When we got there, they took our picture and then we had some appetizers. We had a catered meal of lasagna, salad, and cheesecake! It was all very good, and of course the fellowship was wonderful too. On Saturday, we woke up to find that the snow was already starting to melt! By the end of the day, there was hardly any snow left. But at least we got to enjoy it a little!
29 weeks! Only 11 more to go! Please ignore the swollen face. Mom says that's normal. I just feel fat, of course. Do you see the basketball that is my stomach?! No wonder my back is killing me! It is just amazing when I look at myself in these pictures. For some reason, when I look at myself in the mirror, it is easier to see my old pre-pregnant state. And then I look at this and think WOAH! I'm so excited to meet this guy though. I'm already having dreams about meeting him.
