Play Date
Today our friend Maddox came over to play with us. We had so much fun! Maddox and Cooper are only 3 weeks apart, so it is fun to see them together. They were really noticing each other. This is the first time they looked at each at just stared. Maddox was just laughing at Cooper! It sure is going to be crazy when they start moving and cruising!
Do you think he knows these people?
Whenever Cooper gets fussy, Matt picks him up and takes him to this picture. Cooper just stares and stares at it. I think he loves the people in this picture!

Family Visit
My parents were here this last weekend. It has been a while since my dad has seen Cooper, so he was amazed at how big he has gotten. The last time dad saw Cooper he was only 5 weeks old. He was basically still sleeping a lot during the day. Now I feel like he is up the majority of the day. So he requires a lot of entertaining. At first when I was buying all the baby entertaining stuff I thought that we would never use it. But now, we have our rotation of toys to play with. He loves to play and not really be held too much which makes me sad, but we get down on the floor and have fun together. Anyways, here are some pictures from the weekend!

Zoo
Mom and I took Cooper to the Montgomery Zoo today. I had not been yet and wanted to see what it was like. We got there when the gates opened (9:00 am) to take advantage of the coolest part of the day. It is only $10 per person to get into the zoo with no parking fee. I'm used to the Memphis Zoo which is much more than that, so I was very excited. The zoo had tons of shaded walkways. It was so nice to be able to keep Cooper in the shade the majority of the time. I only took a couple of pictures and videoed the rest. We were there for about 3 hours. Towards the end, we were really burning up, so Mom and I just quickly saw the remaining animals. I have to say that I was very impressed with the zoo. I guess I wasn't expecting much, because the price was so cheap, but I think that when Cooper gets older, we will get a Season Pass. Anyways, the first video is of Cooper getting cooled down with the sprinklers and then the second video is of him riding on the train. The remaining video I took is of the animals. I thought it would be a really good thing for him to have when he gets older.

The Picture Says It All
Matt has been gone to Honduras on a mission trip since Wednesday. We are really missing him! He will be home this next Wednesday. Cooper misses his naps with his Daddy, and how his Daddy gets him to smile so BIG! He also misses when Daddy lays on the floor and plays with him. Can't wait for him to get home!
